Running frequency – how many days/week?

How many days a week should I run?

Running is a tough activity.  With an injury rate of nearly 80%, most runners struggle with how to implement a training plan that will get them fit AND keep them healthy.021

Running differs from cycling and swimming in a lot of ways, but one main way is the amount of impact the body sees is much higher.  Our joints can see ground reaction forces of 2 – 2.5 times our body weight, while in cycling we only see a fraction of that.
